Meet Our Team

Michelle Chelgren, DVM Veterinarian

Dr. Chelgren is a small animal veterinarian from Raleigh, NC, with a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from Northeastern University and her veterinary degree from NC State. With extensive experience in primary, urgent, and emergent care, she has a special interest in feline medicine and urinary tract diseases.

Dr. Chelgren lives in Huntersville with her husband Dr. Josh (also a veterinarian), five cats, and a golden retriever. When she’s not caring for animals, you’ll find her tending to her vegetable garden or enjoying a good crime novel.

Kristen Fredette, CVPM Practice Manager

Kristen joined veterinary medicine in 2015 after eight years in human healthcare, following her lifelong passion for animals. Her dedication to client experience and continuous learning led her from client services to practice management, and she earned her Certified Veterinary Practice Manager credential in 2020.

Kristen lives in Charlotte with her husband, son, and dog. She loves attending concerts and spending quality time with friends and family.
